Nicki Minaj calls Mariah Carey insecure

The feud between YMCMB rapper Nicki Minaj and R&B legend Mariah Carey doesn’t look like it will be stopping soon.
Mariah Carey who had clashed with Nicki Minaj in the beginning of this season’s American Idol mocked Nicki Minaj for not having a number one hit on the Billboard Chart. Mariah Carey has a total of 18 number ones second only to The Beatles with 20.
Nicki Minaj didn’t take kindly to the barb and hit back at Mariah Carey on Twitter.
‘All dem #1s but J. Lo phone ringing?’ tweeted Nicki Minaj who was referring to the news that Mariah Carey will be replaced by Jennifer Lopez in next season’s American Idol. ‘I guess having a personality, being a secure woman, and giving a genuine critique still trumps that’ further tweeted Nicki.
Well, the more the drama between the two artists, the happier the producers of American Idol will be, as they will definitely be milking the friction for TV ratings.
